I might go. I have 2 spare single tickets, if anyone is interested...

carrroline 09-19-2014 10:46 AM

I'm going. I have a golden circle ticket. :)

You have a whole bunch of tickets apparently… happy for you! ;)

Lys 09-19-2014 11:02 AM

Great! See you there :) If work permits :\
What is golden circle?
Apparently I bought a Cat 1 ticket in row L, but can't find that anywhere on the charts and didn't pay attention when I got it :P

carrroline 09-19-2014 11:09 AM

The golden circle is row AAA - D (first 6 rows) on the ground floor.
Cat. 1 is right behind that. You'll be on row 14, if you can make it.

Abso 09-19-2014 11:11 AM

I've bought 2 Cat1 tickets, row T so @Lys if you have a better places I'm interested!
I still can't believe that I'm gonna see Damien playing live...finally!!!! It's a beautiful day!!!

Lys 09-19-2014 11:55 AM

I don't think so...my ticket says 1e etage so I'm up, but there's no row L??

The other tickets I have are 1e et centre row L and 2e et row E.

Uggh..system kept giving me better tix! must be a scam ;P

If you have cat 1, they might be better...

carrroline 09-19-2014 12:04 PM

hmmm, apparently there's Cat.1 and golden circle on the first floor as well as on the ground floor…

I just received my seat confirmation and I'm on row D (on the groundfloor) (presale said row aaa-d)
I had hoped for a seat somewhere in the aaa-a region, but I guess I can't complain.
I'll queue in Brussels for an even better spot.

Abso 09-19-2014 04:35 PM

tickets for ground floor are "fauteuil d'orchestre", so for the balcony it must be specified too.
@Lys: ok I keep mine as they are ground floor seated, thanks for your answer, hope to see you there

Lys 09-19-2014 05:06 PM

No problem! If you know anyone who wants my 'simple'tix, let me know :)

Just investigated the seating on the Folies site, apparently I'm on first row on the 1st etage.
Meh, ok then :P
Quite the mystery, why that row is called L, and it's missing in between K and X ....?!

carrroline 09-19-2014 05:14 PM

Yes, the mysteries of the folies bergère. I'm in a non existing seat 18...

Hannah25 09-19-2014 06:42 PM

I have one of the circular seats on the middle aisle of the ground floor, does anyone know what this means? Looking at actual photos of the interior those seats don't seem to exist and there isn't really room in the aisle?

I also have row D. But I might switch with a friend who is seated on the first floor, first row, somewhere nearby Lys

I desperately tried to buy my tickets wenesdday with the pre-sells, but the damien's site was like "too much connection.. please try again after". I tried friday morning around 9:40.. too late !! I need someone to help me. I'll obviously pay for any spare ticket that you can have. The closest the better. :p

Est-ce que quelqu'un a une place pour moi ?? Merci!! Sauvez-moi…
Merci par avance.

carrroline 09-27-2014 12:27 PM

Hi all
I'm definitely not going to Paris now.
Would anyone be interested in buying my gold circle ticket?
(I'll have to contact the venue and make sure that they can change the name first, it's a presale ticket)

Edit: too late, i sold my ticket

Claude 09-27-2014 11:06 PM

Really interesting !

And for Samart, I certainly have a spare ticket...

WeirdDog 10-11-2014 05:56 PM

Hi, I'm desperately looking for two tickets for this show, they were all sold in few hours and a friend of mine really wants to see it.

I'll be glad if someone have two ticket to sale, don't care of the category, just want to have two side by side seats.

Please contact me if you have something.

Just saw someone who's selling 2 tickets, but 69 eur / one...
J'ai vu une annonce mais le prix n'est pas sympa.
Ce sont des billets côte à côte en categorie 2.

My first time in his venue, quite an impressive entrance. I'm happy I was ushered to my seat, because it was indeed quite hard to find. It was a chair, somewhere on the left balcony, second row. Very close together with 3 other people in the row...cosy!! ;)
Not much different in the setlist, other than SAND, which Cuuliem asked for!
Lovely version, and great to finally hear live.
Volcano with 2 girls he met on a beach, they were from Grenoble...they were uhm...not professional singers I think :) But sounded ok. Audience participation was awesome! Lots of fingersnapping, clapping, stamping, singing! The french are an enthusiastic bunch! Difference from Berlin was huge.
A choir appeared for T&T. They sang loud and clear, very well. Seemed they added some of their own ideas too.

Of all the 4 shows I been to, this was my favorite MFFF. Not sure why, it just sounded amazing, could also be the acoustics in the venue, which were really good (I'm partially deaf, so the louder the better ha!)
Saw lots of people around me film, a girl in front of me filmed the entire show.

Lots of banter tonight, seemed the Amsterdam mood didn't stick :)
He said the question he was asked most these days, is "what have you been doing the last 8 years".. and he said that in a funny boring voice. Someone in the audience shouted 'making love!' and he laughed. He talked about the live of a musician and how it is over romanticized. He gets up, late and tired, to go to some thing or event (indoors), where he arrives late, and then is late for the other (indoor) thing he needs to be...and then after, another indoor thing, and goes to the venue, which is also indoor...etc....not so romantic...:P

He did mention he went to a small place in Spain and saw a lot of beaches, and met a lot of musicians.
Can't remenber much more, my eyelids are closing. But I remember this was the first time I heard him thank the 'people in the dark' (his crew and the venue personel). The only ones that are much more indoors than him :)

We (cuuliem, Claude, and me) waited for a short while, together with a group of other people. He came briefly outside, shook hands, and vanished with friends into town...I told him I shared a Guinness with him in Oslo but he did not seem to remember that. Oh well haha, I understand! Who likes Guiness anyway! :P

SAND is uploading at the moment, will be online shortly here: http://youtu.be/pxDWFqWUNFg

How do you embed a video here, can someone explain?
