Lisa Live last night
 

Was anyone there? She played at Pirate Sounds at the Spiegeltent last night (part of the Dublin Fringe Festival) along with Paul Noonan, Neosupervital and others...maybe Tomo (seems to ring a bell reading his name..)
... Anyone go?!
All I know is she sang Some Surprise with Paul...

yep i was there and it was hilarious...twenty musicians made us dance for four hours with tunes from the talking heads, dr.dre, run d.m.c, mic christopher..it was class..lisa was in a great form and kept fighting with her pirate sword, wearing a red short wig...everyone was dressed as pirates...paul noonan took the crown ..big time..would hire him for me pirate ship, he was so convincing

Paul didn't seem to take that theme too seriously. He's just wearing his regular clothes mostly with a few different accessories. I don't think he really embraced it.

well u can't really see paul on those pictures, simply cos he isn't on them:)

he was the most piratelike with bottles of beer in his hands running around..even his teeth were blackened

I'm a bit surprised that Rónán Ó Snodaigh wasn't the most piratelike... I mean, he looks like one even without cosume :)

Lisa looks great. Dare I say it, I'm liking the solo career route.

I don't even know who that is, but... *sigh* lisa's gorgeous! There's a bar-maid in the town where i live that looks exactly like her, but the bar is an absolute dump. So yeah, I'm a regular. I swear, that barmaid is the reason i've learnt to like salted peanuts - I just wonder if she can sing ...

haha, i've never seen closer, star wars or V for vendetta! But ... after a google image check, i can see the similarity with the red-headed-ness! Ha, Lisa in a black corset - I think she should dress like this more often :) Gawd, im starting to sound like a right groupie ... this is bad, very bad. But her voice is still flawless it would appear which is the main thing, of course

Yeah Lisa looks much happier and more confident :) Whether that's because of going solo or just a bi-product of the sexy pirate outfit I don't know. My vote is for keeping the sexy pirate outfit! :)
