buenos aires is a beautiful city to visit (only to visit, imo) but the weather in october has been awful for the last couple of years. i´ve been only once to santiago and i didn´t like it, but i only stayed for 2 days.

if he goes to colombia or ecuador, i would totally consider any of those options
