Yesterday I found a glorious mock orange shrub covered with bumble bees. I tried to take some pictures with my vintage macro lens.

At first they were a bit wary of me, but after a while they seemed to accept me as part of the decor.

Watching them was wonderful, like entering a whole new world.
It seemed to really calm me down too.

I live and work in the city and I get to see a lot of buildings and cars, but not a lot of nature. So finding these little bits of green in the middle of all that is always special to me.
