I think he saw what a beautiful woman she was to become, a "flower yet to blossom", and kind of selfishly kept her to himself. I mean I would be quite swept up by him too if he took such an interest in me! Beautiful music came out of it, but I think he should have let her become her own person before placing such a hold on her. I admit he did help her come out of her shell, but 15 is just a wee bit young to be sweeping someone off their feet, and from what I see in that video they were very much in love at that time.
