Well, the
"Irish Abroad" had this to say about the situation:
Quote:
FIGHTING IRISH?: Irish press reports have The Frames fighting with their old pal and hot sensitive artist of the moment, Damien Rice. But the Frames are denying the existence of any friction. The Frames have flatly denied that their top 5 “Fake” single is an attack on Damien Rice. “It’s funny how these rumors appear, build up a head of steam and then become regarded as a fact,” Glen Hansard tells Hot Press. “ ‘Fake’ is about any situation where a relationship falls apart and one person starts seeing somebody else. That always brings the green-eyed monster to the fore and causes all sorts of odd emotions to boil to the surface.”

Well, ok, Damo sort of snapped when he left Juniper, and he even
admitted that he was becoming "a royal pain in the arse to deal with", but I don't think Glen would do that. I hope.
