it was odd, really. the morning of the showing, I told my friend, you just watch my darling, I am GOING to sing with Glen Hansard. And I actually did. LOL I am usually really shy and all squirmish around Glen Hansard-like figures, but this one time I was all now-or-never and I am SO glad my shamelessness paid off. hahaha.

The entire night was fun and improv'ed, really. It was really unfortunate Marketa couldn't make it, but it was more spontaneous. There was this other guy in the audience, Peter Katz, who apparently had given Glen a copy of his own album to listen to and Glen loved it, and he invited Peter to come sing for the crowd. And by the second chorus, Glen had come up with an accompaniment part so we got an improv-duet.

Fun time was had by all, really. And especially me. I adore that man...
