Most notably, perhaps, is that Damien Rice contributed a brand new song, “The Connoisseur of Great Excuse,” to the compilation. It’s been nearly a half-decade since the Irish singer-songwriter’s last studio album, 9, was released, though he has unveiled two promising new tracks this year so far: “What If I’m Wrong?” from a documentary on Tibet and “Under the Tongue” from the soundtrack to a PBS special on the music of Ireland.
