So I discovered I could watch videos on my Ipod (that feature has never worked before...) so I decided to search Damien Rice, since O has been my soundtrack for tonight. I re-discovered this song, and as I was listening to it like it was a normal Damien song on my Ipod I realized just how much I love it. For one, the lyrics are totally relatable- "My eyes were close, they're open now, I'm waking up". I just absolutely love it. It reminds me of some things I've been going through this year, and it especially gives sight into the past few years of his life as well, written for a charity album or not. I didn't even mind the ending this time around
It's an absolutely beautiful song, definitely in my top favorites of his newer ones.
