Warner Bros. is an American company and does business gloablly. It's not like he has distribution only in Europe. I'm sure Warner, also a publicly traded company, wants to get the biggest bang for its buck, and would release the album on as broad a scale as possible at once, and not wait a month to release in the US. A week earlier in Ireland is normal, but it's not like Warner is using Ireland as a testing ground for the album. He's already been tested, which is why he has the deal in the first place.

plus, I doubt 10 million copies would need to be made...
