I just want to say how amazing the Iran earthquake appeal gig was tonight in Dublin. I haven't seen Damien live for almost two years but this evening's performance was in a different class to those I saw then. And it wasn't just Damien. Lisa's jazz set was mesmerising, and Vivienne almost carried out what she warned in her infamous 'earth will move' interview with her set, complete with Tomo for 'Come Together' and the 'Red Hot Cello Peppers' for Bohemian Rhapsody.

The Bell X1 lads almost stole the show too. I think they've earned a lot more fans, and it was a good gesture when Damien finished Cold Water with a bit of one of their songs.

Credit is definitely due to Tomo and Tanya for organising it. It was worth twice what I paid for, and the fact that it was going to such a good cause made it even more enjoyable.
