exactly... that's all i know buti've never heard of the 5... there is a beta58 and that's a solid mic for shure... but with betas come difficulty in some live settings... their polarity can butt heads with other mics on stage creating a very tricky situation for the sound guy sometimes... i was gonna buy a beta58 but then i heard this news... then i found out the audix om5 is an ever better mic without the issues so i went with that... happy with my decision
