No luck with Dublin either here. Same story, "down for maintenance" etc.
And I was only going for just 1 ticket.
I suppose, it was announced that "limited number of tickets" would be available, which may have not been understood properly, but also, not made clear properly.
From what I could see, there were maybe 2 or 300 tickets available for Dublin. The venue capacity is just 2,100, so i'm guessing, but maybe around 10 to 15% of the total tickets were available. Thats not a lot when compared to the huge demand.
I would suspect the Dublin venue will get a second gig(and other venues also, as there are gaps in the touring schedule), so were still in with a chance on Friday for the general onsale, or, at additional gigs which have yet to be announced.
It's a case of demand far exceeding supply, and there is nothing we can do about it.
For what its worth, there are hundreads of artist/band websites, who charge you to be in their fanclubs, and participate in ticket presales.
