you should do Ferrara + Florence... it's easy to travel from Ferrara to Florence by train, plus it's a weekend...
the venue in Ferrara is super nice, he played there in front of the Castle in 2007 and the atmosphere was amazing, now he plays in the courtyard and it should be more intimate... not more than 300 people

the venue in Florence is new, opened in February I think, but should be great too... and you'd get the chance to see the city a bit... you should think about it!
