i can really recommend you to use ad-aware in combination with spywareblaster (get itand read a review of it
here). it's like a spyware-'firewall', that prevents spyware to be installed in the first place. according to experts this is the most effective of this sort that are available for free.

about hijack this: some danish computer experts say that you should use ad-awarefirst, and only if that doesnt remove the problem, you can try to use "hijack this" . i think this is because it is rather difficoult to use for ppl who dont know much about what files to remove, so if you know what you're doing i guess it's no problem [img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]
