Yes, they now how to sing... Have you ever heard Madredeus? I saw them live recently and was blown away. I've also contemplated for a while on learning Portuguese, but it seems that I'll start Spanish instead. Gabriel García Márquez is a serious argument for learning Castellá  I'd love to learn to play some Portuguese songs on my mandolin, though.
