It's not a coincidence that the only two occasions he's played Stoic in public were two intimate aftershows. In Grado in 2012 he asked not to tape. This time, no one was taping anyway. I think he's not ready to deliver the song to the world yet. I think he also said he still has to finish it.

Oh and by the way, while working around through the streets of Taormina looking for a place, we all had the chance to talk briefly to Damien. I asked what happened to the Barcelona songs, and he said that good songs might come out of it but he hasn't finished any yet, and that when he has some spare time he will definitely do it.
