I thought it was very amazing. A powerful episode with a powerful song. I saw an interview with the writer of the show and she was saying that it is really important to her to match the lyrics of the songs she uses to what is going on in the episode. I'd say it was a great fit.
My favorite show with a song from my favortite artist. Can't get much better.
And I don't see it as selling out at all. It's a great way to introduce music to people who might not otherwise hear it.
