I thought I'd share something here as well. This thing doesn't really have any music, but I've written this while keeping some tunes and melodies in mind. It is about a close friend of mine. It is a bit dramatic and emo-ish and stuff, lol. Anyway, here it is.

A Crying Monolith

He spins a world not only his own
Tears behind a mask cold as stone
Tangling the misled with his fall
He denies himself, defies it all

A monolith slowly starting to crack
He prays for the days to turn back
Escaping shapes only in his eyes
Hiding the truth yet not spilling lies

'And it burns
Father, it burns
I lie intertwined
With none by my side'

Every castle I build
Wrecked down by deceit
Don't need me'

A weeping wonder still growing colder
Scars grow warmer though the child is older
Sharpened and hardened by a long gone embrace
Left with silent shame and bitterness to face

Helpless struggle to caress the crust
Soul seeking shards of divine trust
Surrounded by summer but winter by heart
The armoured infant screaming:

I want to take chances and fail and fall
To feel something, anything

Yup, that's it. Maybe a few changes and adds here and there could do something good but I'm actually quite satisfied with it.
