He did and it was lovely!! Stef requested it inbetween 2 songs and Damo smiled and said that someone at the airport yesterday asked for it, and that probably no one knew the song. So a small conversation started at the gig, between Stef and Damo there haha...
Damo asked how he knew it, and Stef replied that he didn´t and that he saw it on Damo´s Instagram, when the new album was recorded. So Damo went...aw...cheeky bastard....haha! But decided to play it. It was a very lovely song, about what is really important in your life when you're old and about to leave the world. It's not gold, but love. To me, it was a typical existentialist song, typical for a 40+ year old man
. The style to me was older, like Cold Water and Accidental Babies. Same pace. Maybe that is why it didn't fit on the new album.
I'm uploading a video since when I got back to the hotel but it's only at 50% yet..someone elses upload might be quicker.
Great show overall, bit short (no encore with chair), ambience in the venue was amazing. People were very quiet and respectful.
He did a song with Mariam, I never heard it before, but I liked it a lot.
