hmmm... you
should be able to view the .vob files on your computer ... the ones that are labelled as power dvd files. if you double click on one of them, will it open & play in whatever dvd playing software you have on your computer?

perhaps you are burning it as a data disc? rather, you need to burn it as dvd-video.
