wow it's all so mournful... and u2's music is so full of joy... i think ireland's singer songwriters all need a big *pinch*... i like mark geary's version of all i want is you... i like the frames version of 40, but they're both very true to the original... bell x1's version of heartland is the biggest disappointment... they're usually full of passion and emotion... but they seem to have soaked all the emotion out of that song... it's one of my favourite u2 songs, but they've just made it a very slow, quiet ballad... yawn... even got the lyrics wrong... they all seem to have taken the same approach... i always think it's easier to do slow ballads, sad is always easier than joy...

yeah, it's definitely the right track for mundy to pick, it suits him. and i like bell x1's version of heartland a bit more now too.
building, nice of you to laugh at me, but anyway... do you really not hear any joy in u2's music? i know a lot of people who really hate u2, but none of them say that. it's kind of what u2 are known for? i really like u2 and the frames, and i always say that u2 make me look up at the sky and the frames make me look down at my feet... |

i think damiens version of "still havent found what im looking for" would be a great addition to it... as a hole im not generally that fond of it... but its hard to cover songs that are so loved
