Default Your favourite Damien Rcie's cover in YouTube.

Sorry about the mistake in the title

I'm sure you all watching some covers of Damo sometimes so give us your favourite one.
That's mine,
'dakungfumasta' - who playing an instrumental version for Cannonball, really good one and it's my favourite.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC2ZwvnSkP0
so what's your's?

and by the way what 'Desole' means?

Been wondering about desole myself, shahar. Tried to run it through a cheap-o french and italian translator, and got nothing. Anyone in the widespread EF universe know?

ah, i have just found out. It means, in french - "afflicted" - in the sense of "i am."

so he's saying "i am afflicted."

ooh interesting. You are probably right.. but babel fish says not, hehe. in the french dictionary it has (je suis) after the word. I copied and pasted into babel fish, so i wrote:

desole (je suis)

(you have to have the accents in the right place on desole though)

then it comes up as: afflicted (i am)

but you know what these things are like.

I've known désolé to mean sorry also

I like the Matteo guy that someone else posted some time ago. His accent bothered me at first but it's grown on me. His cover of Nirvana ain't bad either...

edit -- http://youtube.com/watch?v=UmKriYeJTKQ

there it is.

She's from the UK? My god she has a better American accent than most Yanks do!

Actually, that's pretty depressing; that's what a lot of popular music about does these days
