Yes, I agree the Sea Sew was beautiful but a little bit "light". I'd like a darker album.

And the new web is lovely, it seems handmade, more personal.

Looks like Lisa and the guys are working really hard on the new album:

Day 3. Five and a half songs, one bottle of whiskey, several bottles of wine and a box of lemsips down. Videos on the way.

Here's the first (and very short) studio clip:

I have no idea what they're talking about.

New studio clip:

Though one can really only hear something like two seconds of the song that sounded so good! Sort of african but maybe that's just me...
The new album will be sooo good, I just know it... Yay!!!

i really love her voice... there´s some sort of lack of passion (don´t hate me, please) every time i listen to her, but her voice is like heaven and she knows how to create amazing music.

thanks for the video.

Somehow I feel the same. Live, though, it's a different story. Then it's ALL joy.

i bet it is... i can feel her love for music and for singing (she´s quite one of my favourites), but i just can´t feel passion running through my vains when i listen to her, you know... probably, i will feel a different way when i see her live, which i will, i know i will

I've seen her live and she sounds absolutely fantastic. Absolutely filled with joy, like cille said.

Her voice on 'Sea Sew' did sound kind of... flat? I don't know. There was something overly rehearsed about it, and then maybe the production took out some of the spark? I've no clue, but I am really curious about the tune at the end of this last studio diary. I think her voice sounds great.

well, i always thought she shares her taste in music and how she feels music, but it´s just not enough for me. i rather sharing passion and feelings through music instead, and that´s what i can´t feel in lisa´s music.

but again... i love her voice, so i love listening to her, despite all i´ve said, hehe. i and i bet the album number 2 will be great!

The first and third video weren't available in my country (damn youtube!) but I listened to the other two and I have to say she really has a great voice, her tone has great depth.
I do agree with some of you who say that sometimes Lisa's music and singing lack passion. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing her live yet but of course I know the youtube vids of her performances and I often think that she is a lot more versatile and daring live on stage than on the album. When Sea Sew had just come out I thought that maybe it's just her shyness and that she only needed to get used to being a solo artist but the soft and quiet singing really seems to be her "studio style"...
Then again, we haven't heard that much of the new album yet and maybe there are a few surprises coming our way!
