I suppose a tour also means that the new album will be out by then...
I really hope that she will be able to go on tour in Europe this time... Fingers crossed!

^ she's doing/done festivals in Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, so it's possible!

Hot Press says the album will be out in early autumn:

Quote:
Fans will be able to get a sneak preview of her new album, which is due in the early autumn.

“I found a wonderful converted farmhouse studio in the middle of Snowdonia national park in Wales and we all headed over for a week,” she says of the Joe Henry-produced sessions. “Gavin Glass played piano and banjo, Ross Turner was on drums, Shane Fitzsimons, double and electric bass, Donagh Molloy, harmonium and trumpet and an eight and a half months pregnant Lucy Wilkins played violin and arranged a couple of songs for cello and violin. John Smith joined for some guitar and general tomfoolery. I can’t wait to get out and play the songs from it!"

Autumn???
That's quite a while... Didn't she post on her twitter or facebook page that she's already been listening to a couple of mixes of the new songs about a month ago?
Then again, what do I know about the process of recording and releasing an album... Maybe it's the artwork that will take her (and her mom ) so long to make...
Anyway, glad to know that the new album is definitely on the way and maybe I will be able to catch one of her dates in Eastern Europe.

Woo! 3 US dates added! I have to work Wednesday so I'm hoping the presale for the Brighton Music Hall show doesn't sell out! It's a small venue...

June 22 - New York, NY - Rockwood Music Hall
June 23 - Hoboken, NJ - Maxwell's
June 26 - Allston, MA - Brighton Music Hall

^ yeah, I haven't seen anything pop up either - videos, photos, reviews, nothing but a couple of passing mentions on twitter.

Maybe there was a no-camera policy at the show?

I met her on my way home from the park one day. I was very awkward and shy and probably ruined her day, but she was really nice. My friend was jealous so that helped as well

^ Great! three shows so far, and no news at all. I'm curious about how the new material sounds.

wheels is probably still asleep... So,the show yesterday was wonderful! I loved the new songs - how could i not? ;-) afterwards i got the setlist,so here we go:

A sail
Paper house
Ocean and a rock
Pistachio
O sleep
Little bird
Home (with dedication)
Venn diagramm
Knots
I don't know
Passenger
Lille
Safe travels
Meet me in the morning (bob dylan cover)

The guys had great fun during the gig! I loved watching lisa and donagh (the ones i could see best as i was sitting), they seemed to enjoy it so much!

The support is really good as well, john smith, his was of singing kind of reminded me of ray lamnontagne.
Oh, and the album artwork is made by lisa again, but no sewing this time. The plan right now is to release it in august, fingers crossed! I really can't wait!

I'm simply jealous.
I really really hope that there will be a European tour this time as I don't have the money to travel...
I can't wait for the new album!
