Last night she didn't sing with mr. rice, but did with the frames. my questions is, has this happened at other shows on this tour?

Lisa did however not perform during the last part of this European tour because she was back in Ireland due to personal reasons. She was also absent from parts of the last US tour because of the play she was in back home in Ireland at the time. Still, these are other circumstances than the show you refer to since she was actually there and singingwith The Frames.

wow. she had it when she sang with the frames, and it didn't sound like it was horse or anything. but then again, bogarts has a shotty sound system. i'd wish he played the southgate house instead. MUCH better venue.

forgot to add that b/c of the shotty sound system, she probably blew out her voice signing with the frames. damn, can't wait to see both bands again.

That was me that mentioned about Lisa's voice. She sang wonderfully with The Frames in the begining and like I had mentioned in the Bogart's review...during "Star Star" something happened. She started singing and then backed from the mic and left stage?!?

ya know what, i didn't see that. i hope she is better today. it was really smokey in there. i honestly thought it was due to technically difficulties or something. lights making the monitors buzz? i dont think so. seemed to be the channel his electricwas plugged into. have i mentioned i'm not a fan of bogarts? What??????????
Confused. Unless you are referring to non tobacco products which I'm not in a position to comment on but I was in the back room in Whelans one night and she was asking for a lighter for cigs.

It is just a bad joke that I always make about people who smoke (tobacco). I cannot understand why people smoke. I find it stupid and therefore people who smoke "must"be stupid. As forthe ""s (inverted commas)it was just to hint that I was generalizing and way out of line. It's just a bad bad bad internal joke. I was not implying anything else than mentioned above.

good answer, #ian#. that's probably the only reason you'd wanna risk your life for a breath-smelling habit like that. it's not really all THAT cool, but... i guess that's why

You know I have never been a smoker but for some reason cigarette smoke does not bother me at all. I for one like it when I go out and people are still allowed to smoke in the bars.. It just seems wrong for them to have to go out on the street and smoke.. But I do understand that some people are really bothered by it, but it seems to me that if you are in a bar, it sort of goes with the territory

well i didn't know she was a smoker. i don't notice those things since i don't smoke cigs. my philosphy has been: if you're gonna smoke something, smoke something good. cigarettes give me headaches.
