ha! i think it's a brilliant title

but which show was this at that he revealed the name? was it the same toronto show where people pressed him for a release date? although i'm skeptical that the songs listed on the blog are the ones that are going to be on the new album.. i think the author may have just chosen those because she just got a chance to listen to them recently..

and is damien really ireland's unofficial ambassador of melancholy? now there's a title for ya..

Almost everything that girl wrote was wildly inaccurate. She's a casual fan at best. Studio versions!? Nope.

Don't believe a word of it.

As a bonus, I've long found this hidden track from "O" to be quietly devastating, but it doesn't fit on a Christmas mix because, well, it only shares the melody of the Christmas carol and none of the calmness, brightness or peace. The a cappella vocals are all by the lovely 24-year-old Lisa Hannigan, who accompanies Rice on many of his songs.

i wanna open up a can of eskimo whoop ass

NO CALMNESS?!!! IS SHE MENTAL!!???

she probly thinks shes high and mighty throwing in words like cappella

Heather from Fuelfriends writes a really great blog...with loads of info on many cool artists and free nice little MP3s...she's not a damo fanatic obviously, probably just a casual fan who likes to write about and spread good music when she gets it...

A good point well made Soleillily!

Come on guys, lets not get too snobbish/overprotective of our love for Damo.

Any news (however speculative) of the new album is welcome. And as Soleillily said, Heather's blog is pretty good - she was in there early with Ray Lamontagne's new album when that was leaked.
