i love eddie - if I was gay he'd be the man for me. I adore pearl jam and have done for many years ever since I first heard 10 about 11 years ago - In love with their acoustic rendition of Last Kiss at the moment though. Good thread Blackie!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE PJ--have forEVER. And it's so weird that this thread came up now, cause I just saw them in concert LAST NIGHT!!! They came to my state (North Carolina) with the Vote For Change tour--they only made five stops, so it was so lucky that they came HERE! I never fail to be impressed with them live, and I went with someone who isn't really a fan--even she was saying how much she enjoyed it!I had decent seats and the venue was small anyway, butthe security wasn't that great, so I managed to push my way to about 10th row or so--Eddie Vedder (sigh) does it really get any better ? (Well, I guess Damien's up there too--but in a different way)! They played a little of everything, my favorite was when they went mostly acoustic for a series of songs (kinda like theirBenaroya Hall CD). PJ rules!!!

agree with you on light years shaun - it gives me shivers just humming the chorus to myself "and wherever you've gone and wherever we might go, it dont seem fair, you seemed to like it here"

used to be a Pearl Jam fanatic in the nineties too but I've calmed down a bit since then I used to buy every single they released, every compilation and soundtrack they had a song on and used to buy the album they day they were released. Saw them in the Point, Dublin aswell sometime around 1998. I rememember they played Yellow Ledbetter during the encore

Its really good to see all you pj fans in here!as i said before Im a PEARL JAM lunaticbut unfortunatly I never had the chance to see them liveso i just keep playing their dvds on and on and on.... Binaural is my favourite record and i think PJ were at their composing pick at that time...I will agree with Nathaniel that Eddie Vedder is THE MAN and if I was gay i would have a major crush on him.... Anyway...keep posting here and keep loving PEARL JAM.... As for you jenn fox , you do have some issues and you gotta sort em out like NOW!!! MIFFY try this site : www.creedsucks.com I bet you will love!!!I also have a fantastic Creed album review rated F which is hillarious!!I will post it in this thread in a couple of days!!!!

uhm, a bit late, but here we go.. ME ME ME! PJ rocks! Both the nineties and uhm, zero-ies (what do we call this decade?). They introduced me to Neil Young (well, not personally, but doing their mirrorball-project and all). I guess i'm growing older with the band, bought Ten when i was 18 or so, and am still buying their much more laid back material at 29. It's been ages since they've been in the Netherlands, last time was pinkpop-festival, not long after that there was the Roskilde-drama. They haven't been to Europe ever since i believe. Please come back! (just in case Ed's an eskimo) |

I run the PJ Red Mosquito board. With the official one down indefinitely, it's the most populated one right now.
Songs I'd like to see Damo cover: Footsteps Indifference All Or None (would love to see Damo's take on McCready) Hard To Imagine Parting Ways |
