WARNING - for everyone who is avoiding new songs, just skip from minute 5:30 to 6:05 more or less, because a bit of Colour Me In is played.

Hahahah don't worry, I will just remember you as the die-hard Damo fan that walked completely into the wrong direction looking for an ATM. Unfortunately we didn't chat, but I just arrived at the scene when you agreed with this couple to buy their ticket. I had to wait for a girl to whom I sold my ticket too and was late. There was this Canadian guy looking for a ticket as well, but they had promised you the ticket already. After 5 minutes they were fed up and wanted to sell it to him. I convinced them three times to wait for another 2 minutes "this poor girl just ran off into the wrong direction looking for cash after spending hours and hundreds of euros for her to end up with a fake ticket. Have a heart and just wait for a bit. The pre-show is pretty mellow anyway and it'll take at least another 45 minutes before Damo steps onto the podium." Unfortunately after 12 minutes they were getting really anxious and ended up selling the ticket to this guy and that girl I sold my ticket to had arrived in the meantime. You're really fast btw

People, what can you recommend me to do with this recording (apart from cherishing it and guarding it with my life obviously)? Want to share it with you all

Dutch media is very very poor to awful to disgraceful actually. Giel is a very good example of a wanker trying to expand that frame even more and to take it to the next step...

Our therapist Damo on the other hand is a joy to listen to when he's trying to explain himself

The Canadian guy sold the ticket back to me.
I got back just in time to take his place. I feel a bit guilty about that, but he offered, and I couldn't refuse.

Thanks for defending 'my' ticket

thanks guys for everything you´re sharing... i´m trying to catch up, hehe.
i do prefer he is genuine and honest on stage, following whatever he feels... but i definitely love him chatting a bit between songs!

I was hoping he was going to do that. He only arrived that day and found out by coincidence that Damien was playing that eve. His wife had to tell him actually. You went through a lot more effort so don't feel guilty

Hahaha my pleasure. At some point it became a bit awkward and for a second I was considering to physically force them to stay outside. Unfortunately there were too many witnesses

So where did you sit in the end?

btw, what was slightly off-putting was the fact that the entire time the whole room was lit up. I prefer concerts in the dark. Less distracting and makes you feel you're there solely with the artist. Buuuuuuut maybe that's just the romantic inside me

Me, too! I really like concerts when he's chatty, even if it's to tell us that he has sharks in his head and aimlessly ramble on.

When the interviewer started playing the X-Factor version of Cannonball, the whole interview had this feeling of the old show "Punk'd". I don't think poor Damien expected that to happen. Then the interviewer had to try to talk over it...

it took me a little bit to realize what song was being played, and i have to say it was awful!!! i'm sure Damien must have been thinking WTH is this?! haha because that's exactly what crossed my mind...

Hmmm...then it must have been really close to you. I was sitting in Loge 12 front row and this person pretty much where you must have been sitting started taking pictures with her flash. Grrrrr

On the other hand, the day before in Brussels people were doing it all the time in a pretty much completely dark room.

Still annoying as ...

Ok, peepz.

I tried something.

The quality is pretty effing great actually, if I may say. At the moment I'm still in the office and couldn't resist to plug in my headphones and listen to it again and when I did I felt guilty towards you folks sooooo I started upgrading my geekiness and did some Dropbox-action and here is the result.

Let me know if it works. If not, I'll find another way to conquer this challenge

Uhm, you can stop playing the file after 1:40..a.fter that it's just me standing in an elevator...and stuff

^^ maybe behind me? I didn't notice that at all.
Using a flash in a venue like that isn't just annoying, it's completely useless as well.

Thanks for the recording!

Hahahah absolutely my pleasure. I've been browsing through this forum quite frequently actually ever since it all began for me back in 2000 when I discovered this genius and he's been my #1 artist ever since. It felt like the time was ready for me to contribute

thanks to everybody who's sharing their experiences, data and opinions.

Damien is being very patient in the radio interview. I've never heard that cannonball version. I wonder if he owns his songs or if the record company does. There aren't many live interviews out there, so I loved seeing this even tho it was uncomfortable.

That was the X factor's terrible version of cannonball.

Little Mix also know as Little Sh*t

I really thought that was the lowest point of the interview, the guy playing him Little Mix, and he even said something about making money out of it...
