hey guys. i was bored, and looking through the news archives at dameinrice.com and found this

Damien and band play Dublin Green Energy Festival

Damien, Lisa, Tomo, Shane, Vyvienne and Nicki played at the Dublin Green Energy festival in Dublin Castle. The band came on stage before the Frames and their performance was notedas one of the most memorable from the day.

me doesnt' know, but i remember in one of the early recordings, damien mention somebody on stage being pregnant. i don't think that was vyv or lisa, and i completely blocked that out until now

that could have been Vyv at the lobby gig (2002-02-09)

Though that is a good question pam, i have seen that mentioned before and never quite knew who it was

nickie geddes played cello on the ep version of 'woman like a man', she's credited if you look at the small print. Although i'm not sure of who's pregnant, and tomo isn't pregnant anymore as far as i remember... didn't he already give birth to wee tom óg [img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img]

I'm not sure, but I got the feeling that Nicki was the one that was pregnant.

I've never heard Vyv mention anything about havinga kid.

But why was it Nicki and not Vyv on the Woman Like A Man track? I never heard of Nicki before... and all their names were mentioned together in the first post... is she a long lost band member? like the 5th Beatle or something? lol

Wow..hadn't seen that shirt on Damo before, always see him in the same ones. That doesn't look like Vyv to me (her hair is not that curly)...and that looks like a preggers bump around that cellists middle to me...

I was at that gig. It was in Galway. It was actually the second gig that night. I think they'd played some theatre earlier. Nicki was pregnant and I spoke to her boyfriend who was concerned for her about the heat in the pub that night. She was filling in for Vyvienne who was on holiday. Vyv was never pregnant, as far as I know.
Perhaps, Uno, you should post a picture of yourself so we can discuss how fat, skinny, short, tall or furry you are.
