NYC Show

Does anyone have the NYC show? I was there with my wife and it was the last day of our honeymoon. It was the greatest concert either of us have ever seen. She cried through the entire show! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

it's a bittorrent site where you can download live recordings. you do need a membership to the site, which is free, but can at times be tricky to come by as there are only a limited number of slots available.

I see that unfortunately that is the case. I'll keep trying, will the show only be there for a limited time? I'll pay for shipping if anyone would be kind enough to mail it to me...

sorry, i'm new here. so this might be a stupid question. but do you mean that somebody called "mario" recorded it and said that it migh come up in a couple of weeks? just to be clear =)

Yes, that's correct, but I believe he posted somewhere today saying it might be out by middle of next week.

Josh Popejoy's tape is already out, which was posted a couple posts up.

That is our copy up on Dime right now. Josh is my buddy who I went to all the shows with this week and he ran the gear that night. He also is doing the conversion for all three tapes.

by conversion i assume he means transfer, from minidisc to computer, to wave, to flac ect.

question? what is the best way to switch discs, mid recording with MD's. Haven't had to do it yet, just started thinkin about it because the md used on this recording is the same one i have. I assume during applause ect so you can actually edit out the cut? is that what happened here? thanks

1 - There was no tape switch for this show
2 - I've never taped with an MD before. The DAT got messed up on Saturday, I got an M1 for Thursday and Friday, so I don't know.

must of had a tape switch, way beyond an 80 min disc, unless rec. in mono, i did a ****ty calculator esitmate, dividing hours in quaters ect. and came up with approx. 110 mins.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to get the NYC show or if someone could send me a copy I'd be glad to compensate for the trouble. I had a dimeadozen account a while back and got deleted because if inactivity.

there is a trick to get signed at Dime. Once you're at the 'we are sorry...' page, keep hitting the refresh button. It might take 5 min or 30 min but in the end you'll be able to sign up. Always works.

Correct. Apparently, no one in NYC ever tapes Damien. The only NYC shows that have ever come out are the ones that the people who travel up to NY with me make.

Which is really quite ridiculous, actually.
