Noice! I love that it's unplugged again.
If he adds a date in Northern Europe I might be tempted

When I saw Damien in Stockholm last summer I asked him if he was going to come to the U.S. anytime soon, he said probably not for a while unfortunately. That's why I decided to go to his Japan shows.

Who else is going?

I will be at Osaka, Nagoya and the second Tokyo show?

Claude? Are you going to be there?

Hello Mike,

I was planning to go to both shows in Tokyo,
but with the difficulties of the presale, i let it go...

May be you've got a spare ticket ?

I dont have any spares unfortunately.

It was such a disaster buying tickets. I don't even know if I have seats or if its general admission or what.

I have to go to a 7-11 and print them out when I arrive in Japan.

Yes, no problem !
It was a joke.

But i wish you a lot of fun and emotions !
That will be great, i'm sure.

I was dreaming of making a remake of "Lost in translation" !!!
But not this time for me.

May be we will read some reports here or there...

Thanks for sharing !
He seems to be in a good mood,
about the changes in the setlist...
And he played again the cover of "When Doves Cry", like in Germany !

Have a wonderful "Fete de la Musique" today !

Thanks for copy/pasting the setlists from the Japan tour, borneoman. I just remebered that a few members were not on FB, and Claude reported for us here from Russia!

I attended the shows in Nagoya (19/6) and Tokyo (20 and 21/6) and it was really special. The venues were tiny at his request (a bar with 100 ppl in Nagoya, about 250/300 in Tokyo) and he was very relaxed, as apart from those 4 nights he was on holiday. There were songs without microphone in the middle of the crowd, lots of song requests, reflections on life (and death), sake drinking and a small unplugged guitar. My favorite was maybe the Shibuya show, very intimate and emotional, with the most amazing version of Trusty and True I have ever heard.

There was no new song or any mention of a new album but a few unusual songs: Insane (requested by Mike and myself) in Nagoya, then again in Tokyo (without request), Then Go at the last show, Truth is not enough and a little portion of When Doves cry.
