Jonsi flies solo!!!

Debut album from Jonsi (Go), lead singer of Sigur Ros, just around the corner. I believe it's out on Mar 22 (must confirm)...

A couple of tracks are floating around and they're absolutely amazing fantastic spectacular. It's 100% opposite from the Ricesleep Project, more like in the vein of Gobbledigook (sp?) from the last album...

and there's a worlwide tour to follow, US & Europe

... and unlike many artists he hasn't neglected southern Europe and he's playing Milano <3

Where did all the Sigur Ros fans go???

You can listen to the full album on youtube, and it's an amazing spectacular album... there's a bunch of songs on the same vain as Go Do and Lilikoi, but also some slow ones in the vein of the classic Sigur Ros...

this is prob my favourite, Grow Till Tall

I don't like Sigur's upbeat stuff (i.e. beginning half of last album) but that song you just posted is great!!! His voice is so hauntingly beautiful and childlike.

He was at Jo Whiley's Live Lounge this Sat and was amazing!!! He did Go Do with ukelele

and then a cover of MGMT's Time to Pretend on piano. Go check, the interview is interesting too
