Congratulations! You have passed the test and are now contaminated with the Ryan Adams virus. No really, that's a good thing.

José González - Heartbeats

A song *I* can't get out of my head these days. It's used as a soundtrack to a television commercial over here (Sony TV sets, I think). A commercial that I am completely in love with (and I hate ads), about the most beautiful audiovisual thing I have seen in ages; thousands tiny rubber balls in all imaginabe colours bouncing through the city in slow motion. The song really ties it together.

yes it's very beautiful music, i felt like that about it too a couple of years ago (a swedish dude gave it to me). quite a scoop for him to be on that add i'm sure.

rufus - the art teacher

brilliant song. it's strange with him, i feel i love like 1/4th of his songs, and am quite indifferent/even sort of detest the rest. and i get quite annoyed at his porn breathing (through the teeth). when i saw him live it drove me mad with irritation.

Heh, a Swedish dude gave me Veneer a few years back too. When I first saw the ad --it sort of caught the corner of my eye(boogers), and I nearly stopped breathing-- I couldn't remember where I knew the song from, so annoying when that happens. I was humming along with it, but it wasn't ringing any bells, while 7 inches from me my Veneer cd was screaming "yo, it's Heartbeats, right here!".

Ryan Adams - Strawberry Wine

Juniper - Lie to an Angel

If the moons can shine
Surely we could do the same
I could make you mine
If I could feel that way again

There's beauty in imperfection
Like a cello playing Mendelssohn
This criminal infection has broken the chords
And I believe needing is getting strong
I could pretend like nothing is wrong
If you teach me how to lie to an angel

Yes, it's norwegian and means baby. I learnt it from a internet dictionnary. http://www.heinzelnisse.info/ it's pretty easy to learn, didn't think it was!!

Eurythmics - There must be an angel

Am I the only who thinks that the voices of Annie Lennox and Fiona Apple are pretty similar? (Well, Fiona's is a bit darker)

jose gonzales - crosses

a much more powerful song than the famous 'heartbeats' i think.

nah, people here are just GENERALLY (and remember, generalisations are generally useless ) not very... herzlich. could be the cold nordic weather or something. it takes a while to get to know a dane well. generally.
oh and then the most fascistoid danish party, dansk folkeparti, who basically would throw any foreigner (esp. muslims who they fear the most) out today if they could, are gaining popularity for each election. esp. after 9/11 - they thrive on fear.

Yeah. "Crosses" wouldn't have worked in the bouncy balls commercial, though.

Ryan Adams - Elizabeth, You Were Born To Play That Part

Anyone wanna take me up on a bet that this song is about a young Elizabeth Taylor in LASSIE?
