My friend's having problems registering...

Hi Admin

My friend has just registered with the username: "Agonofinis" - and has pressed the activation code in the email the site sent. However, it still says he is not authorised to post when he tries to.

I had this problem when I tried to join too - do you think you could activate his account for him? Thanks a lot!

Done. The thing is, to prevent spam we have to manually approve each new member. So it might take us a day to see someone has registered.

It means you can't post right away, but it stops the spam that we had for a while.

Ah I see - Sorry I didn't realise, I wouldn't have posted a topic about it so quickly had I known. Must be different to what happened with me, because I couldn't post for about 2 months, I just assumed twas the same problem for him. Thanks so much, I'll tell him it's done

Yeah it really seems to have helped

..although I kind of miss entertaining myself with reporting spam posts during boring work days... It was like a full time job at times
