Anyone here use Cubase? What's it like? Advantages/Disadvantages?

advantages - its highly useful, and highly wonderful


disadvantages- price, hard to get used to etc

I have a friend that swears by it and I've heard him do some amazing things with it but I think it has a high learning curve......





I'va also heard some amazing things from Har Bal recently..........

it's hard to use, but industry standard, i'm told if u learn cubase u can use any other program (which is bollocks cos they are all layed out differently), but it's a powerfull tool

I'm an avid Samplitude user, I got a whole mini recording studio running on the thing and its completely amazing. Its reallyuser friendly and I would reallyat least download a demoof it (soz, I cannae give the website) and try it out.

hey, we got my brother a tascam midi recorder with cubase software, and actually it looked good but cubase is something you need to learn and it did give us problems, but then again it couldve been my computer, and also, guitar center, (where we bought it) did not give us the complete story, they didnt tell us that you need to buy more software with the tascam drive in order to use it and cubase, it got comlictated, but i guess its alright if you want to invest some time into it, thats about it, later
