Default You Shouldn't Be Here Tab (plus more to come hopefully)

I've been working on tabs, or atleast chord sequences for some of the Damien Rice songs that I have discovered recently like You Shouldn't Be Here and What the Night is For.

Obviously because these songs are only in their early stages and the recording quality isn't brilliant an exact tab would be impossible and probably pointless but I enjoy playing along with them and have only recently started being able to work out chords from ear so thought I should try and share

To the point, I think the chords for You Shouldn't Be Here are something like this.

Intro: Still struggling to get it but I think he alternates between C and F and some form of D, I think minor but not too sure.

Verse.

C Bflat F

I wouldn't usually use bar chords but I think for this song it's easier

C 8 10 10 9 8 8

B 6 8 8 7 6 6

F 1 3 3 2 1 1

(Or for the F you could just play X3321X and then you can do pull offs which I think he does occasionally)

Chorus

Em C (with pull of on 3rd fred B string) Em Am (with pull off on 3rd fret top E string)

Em C F F G

Third section, lets call it Bridge

C to Em repeat

F G

Then back to verse for one.

Fini.

Please feel free to hound all mistakes.

I'm really sorry, I've made a complte mess of this song. There is no intro to this song, that's What the night is for. I think instead of talking nonsense and fialing to write I just record what I think he plays and see if people agree.

Sorry again.

The chords to 'What this night is for' are basicaly for the Verse C G F and for the chorus Am G F. If that is any help...

Yeah thanks It's just the sort of strange bit he does at the begging but he's possibly just checking tunning
