Snow Patrol

I noticed that Snow Patrol were nominated in the Best British band for the brits, and best Irish band for the Meteors. So which are they? Everyone thought they were Scottish when they first emerged, but at least two of them are from the North, are they not? I wonder what their opinion of their origin is?!

Four of the five are from Northern Ireland, but they all met at college in Scotland......... I think.

yep, that's it- they're Bangor boys ( most of them). I'm sure they have an opinion on their nationality etc but perhaps they're just chuffed that they got nominated for both after so many years of hard work??
