Hi, ive just booked tickets for this as im only about an hours drive away!! so megally excited as it will be my first time EVER seeing damien rice live!! Is anyone else going?

the usual stuff: the professor, volcano & jam, 9 crimes, blowers daughter, older chests (upon request), blowers daugther part 2 (dunno the album name right now), i remember and some other. Wild and free was a slighty different version than the one he played before and we all know. Very nice

Oh, and he got his hair cut - no more homeless look.

This is the second time i messed up a damo recording (the device did not record at all :/) - but i guess there will be many recordings of that gig...at least youtube videos..

will post video of wild and free asap - its currently uploading. upload is slow in my hotel...

Oh he quit 5 mins early. did a great gig nethertheless.

for what i remember he asked if it is ok to play a new song now.
And when finished he appologized that he hadnt figured out a proper ending for the song yet. I dont remember him addressing this song by title. So Wild and Free is the best we got

I cannot upload the video till tomorrow evening. Guess others will pop up in the meantime anyway. Can send you the extraced audio track of the video however.

rules when you go to a Damo gig this summer:
1) if during the show he asks if we want new songs or old songs, the right answer is: new songs!!
2) after the show, never go home. Always stick around just in case he does an aftershow in the middle of the street!!!!
