haven't been here in a long time, but caught damien and the band on the friday night, taught they were cool, haven't seen them in about 2years. damien looked in pretty good form and was dancing around a bit.

also got to catch a lot of acts at the big tree including dave geraghty, paul noonan, lisa hannigan, duke special and dublin gospel choir and guests. the big tree was by far my fav place to be at the festival it just had a great vibe about it.

also caught the frames and mundy, first time seeing mundy and taught he was pretty cool. got some photo's of paul noonan and lisa at the big tree and damien on friday night will throw them up if anyone is interested.

hey, i wonder if any one caught damien rice on stage with mel seme, at the big tree stage.
He came on and did a truly amazing song. Not sure if it was seme's song or a cover or what, i missed the beginning, i was at the amnesty tent for it..

it was reall good, had mel on piano and damo on guitar...
main lyric had something to do with wanting a better world for my children...

That started off as then go, and then became a cover of one love, I'm sure mel was putting in some of his own lyrics, he was playing for a good while. It really was an amazing collaboration. The whole thing just worked so well.

Not in the scary yellow raincoat...

(I was tempted to take a picture, but then I reckoned it wasn't really fair when the guy was off-duty)

i did actually, he put on a surprisingly very good set. I think he was the first act at the big tree stage on saturday, met him after as well..
he also was a rodeo for the whole thing, setting up all the mics/guitars etc...
