Very excited for this After waiting 8 years to see him again, it looks like I'll get three concerts in the space of 6 weeks!

Default Why??

Normal link from website says pre-sale starts tomorrow 9.00.

But Lys' link takes you to active pre-sale page where you can buy tickets.

WHY???

Oh wow, this seems to have worked. Thanks Lys!!! Did the confirmation email come through straight away for you guys?

Edit: Have a confirmation email now - slight disbelief but hopefully it's all fine!

So I have two spares now in row K, block D. PM me if you're interested

And the ticket supplier didn't allocate seats in best available order! I got Block D dead on 9am, I was No 1 in the queue (I didn't see Lys' post last night) and was given no option to select or change. I assumed that these must be the best available but it turns out not to be the case.

No, indeed, its a effing mess.
I played with these links for some time and it appears no central seats in rows A-E were given out at all yet. Beside in block C and J, I got row C there. There are more presales, on ENTS24, Ticketmaster....wouldn't surprise me if the best seats go on sale then. Meh.

From this news article it seems like the best seats actually go to the Chelsea Pensioners: http://www.standard.co.uk/news/londo...-10064009.html

Ha, that explains
And also, why the 'pre' ticket link is also still active:
"Music-loving Chelsea Pensioners who want to go to the gigs will be given free tickets, while their families will be given preferential bookings in the 4,000 capacity venue".

Could be those PREferential seats!
https://kililive.ticketabc.com/events/damien-pre

Explains the steep price too..

Ha, I used that link so if that's the case I'll be surrounded by Chelsea Pensioners!

I also saw tickets available in F after I had got mine but I resisted! It's only me going and didn't like the idea of shifting a single ticket. It's a shame you're not keeping them as it sounds like you would have sat beside me!

I think we're right about all the front rows going to the Chelsea Hospital residents. They've made a big deal about that in the press. I'll maybe check out the TM pre-sale and if the tickets are vastly different to my 11th row, I might be tempted!

I'd be up for a drink or two before the gig if anyone fancies it

An interesting thing to point out was the way this was marketed.

Alison Moyet's only London gig this year
Damien Rice's only London gig this summer

Just tried the pre-link again and was offered A-row seats. In Block J, so not taking them. Ít's a 4000 people venue so Block J might be pretty far from centre.
Man, i wish they'd make this whole thing more transparent!! It's getting really expensive this way too

It's strange the way they're releasing the tickets!

Does anyone know how to access the TM pre-sale? It started this morning at 9am.

Trying the seetickets "presale" - but no good seats came up. Happy I got the others with the venue presale!
Link is still active, and still offering better seats...LOL

Tickets still available but I don't want one unless he is with his band.. Anyone know if this is a band gig or a solo one?

Back when the album was launched I remember him saying that he was going to do a small solo tour first then a much larger one with a band. Though I've not heard anything more than that so it could just be him on stage.

I still have this ticket and I think it's going to be quite hard to shift, so if any Eskimos want it below face value just make me an offer

Oh man. Loved this show. The songs just go richer and richer.
We got Face!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKrC_AS-gdE

And lots of banter...he (and me both!!) was a bit annoyed by the audience walking in and out all the time, arriving late, going for the loo etc. At one point he asked a couple about their seats, because they were walking around near the front row while he was playing. He was like, so you are sitting here right? The guy or girl said yes but there is someone in my seat. So Damien said..aahh...come beat them up! Who stole their seats!! LOL Lots of boooo's - these seat thieves must have been quite emberrassed.
And then...intro to 9 Crimes...'this is a song about stealing stuff'..

Lys, at the beginning of Face, he's saying something 'bout brand new songs. What's the context there? Did he talk about the new album at all?
