So i took a stab at the lyrics to never go down from dave's recording and this is the best i could come up with. I am in no way claiming that these are right, in fact some of what i have doesnt really make sense, so feel free to edit.

shes doesn't touch any fool
across to nothing
i remember, i remember why
i was still lost
took all the hate and the river groaned
and i pushed your name
and i torched the lane
and i called around
weak and all the waters fall

and i undid your hair
and i found myself lying there
and i look around
and i thought i saw her take it off
and i pulled the air force down
i told you i would myself would be there
i want your love again
yeahh
and then you came home
and heard what you say
i would never go down, never go down, never go down...

Also, does anyone have a different recording of what you know about love? I love the little tidbit after volcano and if theres more to it i would love to hear it.

Default I'm not surprised by that

Corey, I ask that question all the time. I always get the same answer you got.

I once asked "Does taping help me out in any way?" It then spoke words to me, "No you are just a dork, stop asking me this crap and find something better to do with your life!"

Nice try Abum!!! It's really hard to transcribe. Funny the only 2 sentences I am confident about, are different from yours

I hear 'old photograph' instead of 'air force down' and I also hear 'I opened her hand' instead of 'I undid her hair'

haha old photograph makes much more sense than air force down, i kinda laughed when i typed that cuz it didnt make sense, im gunna go with u on that one. I myself am pretty confident on undid her hair, i also like that better than opened her hand, its a nice image. ill go back and give it another listen, some parts are real hard to hear. Any other parts you can critique?

also, some people have said that this is played over the MMY&I music. I disagree, the music to never go down is quite different. It sounds similar because its played with similar chords and in the same key(I dont really know music theory i could be wrong), but it has a much different feel to it than MMY&I in my opinion.

FYI - I have received a few e-mails asking if the final product will be split / indexed by track / intro's like the December show. The answer is yes. I'll take great care that the tracking makes sense.

Some other notes:
a.) Began mastering today.

b.) The scratch sound you might be hearing in a couple of places on MMY&I and a few other songs are not on the original recording. They are a result of my increasing the volume in the mp3's for you and going beyond the threshold for a split second. They won't be in the final mix.

c.) I am a truly crappy guitarist, but I was able to teach myself Coconut Skins today. There is hope for anyone to be a musician!

d.) Lin - you almost had me blushing with that "Eskimo of the month" suggestion. I fell short when I started asking myself if it required me to be cold for a month ;-)

hey there... the preview was kindly provided by dave to the folks who attended the show and/or have been taking an active roll in this thread... if you ask dave he may provide you with it but it seems like the finished product won't be too far off so if you can be patient it will definitely be worth it...

Hey all,

Just needed to take a much needed break from day work. About 40% done with the work (I just started 2 days ago). I limited some claps because of the idiot you guys can probably hear to my left. Even though I didn't get to kick him over the balcony that night, I actually get a second chance in the master. So far, he's barely holding on with one leg.

If you need a sample, just PM me. I just like to see that you've been an Eskimo Friend for a while and make it clear on not distributing it. If you have a good amount of posts already, I'll just forward the information along. If you don't, I generally like to ask a few questions.

Haha, that's classic. I think it's safe to assume then, that you are punching out the people who sat next to me then too and eliminating the "come-on's" and whistles? Something that I, very unfortunately, did not get to do in person. Sad.

I'm just listening to the show - again! - and there's something that keeps on striking me: Is that Damien whistling before "9 Crimes"? It just seems so random...
