Default John Butler Trio

Anyone else a fan?
I got Grand National and i have to say i really enjoy their whole vibe. Its slightly refreshing whilst quite familar. If i was to compare them to anyone it would be a mix of Jack Johnson meets Dave Matthews and gets a little crazy

Anyways listen here - www.myspace.com/johnbutlertrio

And also watch this insanely good video you'll be an instant fan - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VAkOhXIsI0

Words can not express how much I love JBT! A close second to Damien Rice for me.
I posted this in the youtube video thread, but I'll post it here too. My favorite video:

oh yeah i forgot to reply to this. i loved the gig! was incredible to finally see them live, and "ocean" gave me shivvers down the spine

i still think they are an outdoor band moreso, same thought went through my head after seeing dave matthews in an auditorium like venue. just doesnt suit the mood i guess

love to see them again tho, brilliant gg

JBT are awesome I was stoaked to see them over here in the music stores. I always thought they were from NZ but when it comes to music a lot of NZ bands can't really make it big unless they do in Oz first.

They played a brilliant gig at bats in wellington they are a f*&kin cool band Zebra is a fantastic drunken sing a long song.

check out NZmusic.com look for trinty roots, the black seeds, fat freddies drop, awww I miss home.
