Default rock and roll hall of fame induction ceremonies

i was looking for the broadcast on tv and couldn't find it, but there's a live webcast here if anyone's interested:

http://spinner.aol.com/rockhall

2007 inductees are:

R.E.M.
The Ronettes
Grandmaster Flash (rock?)
Patti Smith
Van Halen (though neither of the van halen bros are showing up )

i missed the beginning, i think R.E.M. was first.. i believe you can watch it on demand afterwards though

patti smith absolutely took the roof off the place with the end of her set, i couldn't believe she actually played rock and roll nigger! i was blown away it's my favorite song of hers. she dedicated it to her mommy, because it was her favorite song to vaccuum to

then they played that clip in full from a past show of neil young and led zeppelin playing when the levee breaks.. i dare anyone to watch that performance and deny THE FACT that neil young kicked jimmy page's ass on lead guitar robert plant was way cool and starting singing for what it's worth (buffalo springfield) as they were improvising

i kind of lost interest after van hagar with velvet revolver..
