The two songs were “No one need know” and “What you feel”.

I enjoyed both shows and really appreciate that Damien tried to play different songs. ❤️ Thanks for the set list!

So great to see Damien again-- it's been so long since he was last here.

Wanted to add to "the song that 7 people have heard" that one of the lines that stuck out for me (perhaps part of the chorus) was, "you carry your bruises long past your fall".

Great show; thank you for compiling the set list!
Damo never seems aware just how many people know and love his unrecorded songs. "No One Need Know" is a true joy and not new at all: http://www.eskimofriends.com/forum/s...9&postcount=65

The other "new" one is legitimately only like a month old, though.

Weren't you there last night?

I poorly shorthanded his remark, in fact he agreed with this sentiment.

What he actually said introducing the tune was roughly:

this is an old new song,or maybe a new old song. I don't think anyone has heard it outside of like seven people might remember. I'm pretty sure I played it somewhere once.

I took it as a literal shout out to folks like us tracking everything he ever played, no?

I loved No One Need Know! Really great song. Both shows were wonderful. So fortunate to have been there. Hope he comes back soon.

I really loved his NYC shows, but he was definitely lighter and happier in Boston (maybe bc of its new recreational supplies). It seemed like he did the questions begrudgingly and it was definitely weird.

The 4pm was also promoted as an opportunity to hear new songs, but there really weren’t any new ones for the “7” of us who have all his songs anyway. I think that’s why I’m excited about the rest of No Moon.

Love the pics in the last post.

I assume the ones outside theater with Damien were from after the evening show? I'm curious, how long did you have to wait from the end of the show until he came out? And did he play a song or mainly talk to everyone?

Thanks!

Thank you Beat Surrender,

Yes you're right, it was after the evening show.
Sorry i'm not sure about the waiting time, may be one hour or less !
(from the end of the show)
No he didn't play, it was too cold...
But he was very friendly and we could talk to him !
Some handshakes or hugs at the end.

Hello Claude, I think we met! Were you waiting in the box office area for awhile because you had problems with your ticket? I was the one who waved at you once we were both inside but you didn't see me until the end.

That's great, I'm glad you were able to say hi to him and talk. They were both great shows, so glad we were both able to see them since we both weren't sure about the evening show working out!

If you're not the person I mean, sorry

I am not surprised you feel that way!

If you haven't already, you should take it to twitter for sure. I have complained about several companies on twitter and find that these days it's the fastest way to get them to fix the problem

But maybe that's just in the US? Is twitter powerful in Europe?

Again, so glad it worked out for you though. Do you know if the other woman who had the viagogo problem got in?

Thank you for the advice,
but i'm not using Twitter or Facebook...
Yes it"s working well in Europe too.
May be, i'm a bit "oldschool"...

I totally understand being "old school". I wouldn't even be on facebook if a friend hadn't created a profile for me and sent me the password. But I got addicted pretty quickly....

I only got on twitter to ask questions of another musician I love, and now I love twitter too, but i understand staying away from both!
