help a poor poor newcomer......... im trying to play tongue the damo way but all i have to work on is a dodgy live recording....anyone in the big world know it well enough??(he does Eminor really high up or something after the verse i thinks) thank you all!![img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]

heya sorry i dont know how to play tongue but welcome anyways! [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img] could you try and get a tab for the Bell x1 version and work from there?

well if anyone wants to have a go i think its Em Am verse then C up 2 frets for ''ive got a nervous feeling'' then back to Am then chorus of C, C up 2 frets, G repeat.... but its not right [img]smileys/smiley9.gif[/img]

yes, MacFriend's way for playing the verses is also mine. it sounds right to me. i've always wondered what the correct intro is..i can play the verse and the chorus perfectly, but i can't get the intro perfectly. the sliding part..

I think the best version of it is the acoustic one he played on Easterin Pittsburgh (Byham theatre). I got it from my bro he has like a 25 track cd of damien live in L.A. its really really cool...except some stupid american keeps tapping out of beat for the blowers daughter... it was weird though i never knew tongue was around when he was in juniper... supposedly they split cause he wanted eskimo to be one of their first singles and they said no?????

em and c...but c without the pointing finger ( lol) am c ( 2 frets up) i got a nervous feeling over you ( and again) chorus c c2 frets up g i need to feel hope.........i need to feel young again and so on..... c c2up em the can laugh as i cry .......they can cut til i bleed Im not sure if its right tho lololol...when my band dus it that what we do so ....sounds ok i think
