happy day, everyone

Lots of smiles today...
(and I really needed them, because the past few days were far from perfect) Let's see...
I met someone I sincerely admire and she turned out to be as lovely as I pictured her.
I spent the day in beautiful Amsterdam and although the weather wasn't perfect, it felt like the first day of spring.
I got to see The Young Folk twice today. First in the coolest record store/coffee place I've ever seen, later in the legendary Paradiso. (they are brilliant!)
Also got to see Rhob again (he opened for the young folk), loved it of course, although the noisy audience was a bit annoying.

my sister and my mum have booked a flight to come to visit me
it would be my mother´s first time out of the country. she´s traveling around spain for almost a month, a dream come true for her at the age of 71. she totally diserves it... plus, she´ll be able to get to see some of this magic land that hooked me up from the very first moment i can´t wait

I know I'm not very careful when it comes to protecting my identity here. For anyone in the igloo it's very easy to find out who I am in real life. (And that's okay. I can't imagine that I'm that interesting though)
But I never thought someone could trace me to the igloo... But apparently it's very easy (too easy). Again, no idea why someone would want to do that, but they did.
A year ago this would have bothered me hugely, but today I find it mostly amusing.

Cyberstalking me back to the igloo is far more embarrassing than anything I've ever posted here anyway (I hope )

Well, I posted some stuff here that is directly related to me.
If you google those things and scroll down long enough, it will lead you to the igloo apparently. Silly me. (my eskimo name doesn't help either. I probably should 've chosen something less obvious)

But hey, I'm a proud eskimo, so it doesn't really matter — I think

Spring is my favourite season!

After trying for 5,5 h (!), and seeing several 'sold out' signs, I was finally able to buy a ticket for Sufjan Stevens. phew.

i´m so behind everything... caro, words just fail sometimes

i´ve been having a crazy month, with a few things to sort out, but everything lost it meaning when i my mum and my sister finally were here! very irish weather, if you know what i mean... but we had such an amazing time and my mother was overwhelmingly happy, so was i, of course.

a few days after they leftm, my best friend a his husband arrived! it was amazing having them here and we had such a wonderful time and all the craic!

Welcome back Vere!
It wasn't the same here without you.

(And very happy for you. Must be amazing to see your family and best friend again, regardless the weather )

^ That's a great reason to smile

^^ Hope you enjoy the show!

I've been in an uncharacteristically good mood lately.
I was caught off guard for a moment this afternoon with some great news and instinctively went "whoop whoop" (It's the first and probably last time I've ever used that expression )
