Good question!

But why not French? I heard he has lived in Paris... But I prefer when they speak English anyway! (what? I can hear French everyday! - not English...)

Plus in English you get the Irish accent as a bonus..

Oh..Irish accent...*drool*

He lived in Paris? Well, yeah that makes sense...busking ;round Eurpope..and there's the end of the professor...le fille dense (i forget how to spell it)

what about a funeral, loudly mentioning men in skirts in a horny fashion could get you into a bit of trouble, eh?

An excerpt from a conversation with a French girl I know that I put the professor on a mix cd for:

Me: "Did you like that Damien Rice song?"

Her: "Yes"

Me: "How's his french?"

Her: "Not very good"

In short. He should do it in (mainly) English.

His French isn't very good, but he tries.
At his gig in Brussels he tried very hard to speak French and I guess he was understandable.
It was SO cute how he tried to explain the story of Cheers darlin'.
"Il y avait un mec... et un fille..."
It took him ages and it was very funny, but I would really REALLY like to hear his Irish accent in February.

I was only talking to the lads in college about horrible accents. And some of the ones mentioned most was Donegal, Cavan and (wait for it)...........Limerick *as he ducks for cover*

I've always liked the Belfast accent, and the Scottish. </font>

What??!!! I've known four Limerick girls in my life and the accent was a serious turn on!

worst accent is a knacker cork accent but normally cork accents are nice &amp; understandable... french accent is by far the sexiest tho...

We get that a lot...

I would have kept my horrible french accent if I had known!!!

Now when I want to sound sexy I just go for it, my bf likes it a lot... But it's really hard to pretend you cannot speak English properly! (hint: when it's so damn excellent)
