Coming to watch Marketa Irglova - after entering the room Damien was just tuning a guitar (with a really really failed haircut :P) - Surprise, Surprise O.O
Anyway, damien joined in to play "falling slowly" by Glen and Marketa at the end of her set - i did not see that one coming... taped this with my mobile. will upload to youtube later on. Really nice.

Damiens own Gig was just... super magic. Best Show in Years in my opinion!! No more words needed. Standard Setlist starting of with the professor, followed by the usual stuff. But in perfection. Hail to the Drugs he took that night.

A (cute) gurl in front of me (pretty much in the very front) was taping the whole gig. Hopefully it will find its way to youtube so you can catch a glimpse of what was going on.
He did cheers darling with a girl from the audience again who made him look like he probably was behaving that very night.

If it were anyone else I wouldn't have thought twice bout this. But the fact tat it's Damo and marketa together gives me pause.

Revenge for Lisa and Glen "touring" together for so long? I know they used to before she and Damien were an item. Think they started back up and D is pissed?

Don't read too much into it. At his age and considering their history, I doubt Damien would be as childish as getting back at Lisa that way.

they did it alright, but i admit it sounds weird to me (as it is with glen and lisa, still not convinced by the two of them either).

regardless, i think none of them are making a big deal, so why would us? it was enjoyable in the end...

i´m glad you had a good time and i´m looking forward to the videos (i couldn´t see much of his new hair cut, hehe).

He asked for a girl who has a boyfriend (because he needs such a girl for the next song) and picked one from the very front where he could communicate with the girl and her boyfriend.

Naturally she always started drinking later because damien is directing/leading the whole act, but she always finish earlier than him, yet she still looked elegantly superior while damien looked a bit strained/uptighted with the fast drinking, which emphasises the nature of the whole story - struggeling boy and unreachable girl.

Ever since Damien did that Hot Press interview I believe that the topic is now open for discussion. Especially because the "gossip" has had such a massive impact on the music.

Who knows what it looks like to Marketa, but when we last talked to Glen, he was still pretty uncomfortable playing the song without her, but did it anyway because the audience wouldn't shut up about it, basically. I assume with Lisa it's just marginally more comfortable than singing with some random person, and people want to hear it anyway, so!
