An introduction is in order
Well, I guess I can't really get into the forum without a proper introduction.
My name is Jessica, I'm seventeen. My father is in the air force so we just moved from Alaska to Virginia my senior year of high school - not really what I had in mind. I started listening to Damien Rice a year or two ago, I think. When he had his single "The Blower's Daughter" in the movie "Closer", I saw the music video for it on VH1 before going to school. I thought the song and video were amazing but I didn't take down the name, and I never heard the song again, and completely forgot who it was. A year or so later I'm listening to my music player on launch.com and "The Blower's Daughter" comes on. And that's when I started avidly listening to him. Just recently I have been looking up Lisa Hannigan as well. I hope her and Damien never part their musical ways. I'm into a lot of different music, so I can't really say I listen to one genre more than the other. Anything from Anoushka Shankar to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will do it for me. |

Welcome Jessica!
I'm sure you're gonna like this little igloo. It's a lovely place, full of very nice people. And, by the way, I really like the vibe of your myspace. It's quite minimalist and unique. If I had one, I'd like it to be just like yours

Thank you for the welcome, everyone.
I found the images of John and Yoko through google images. They'd make nice prints, I think. |
